Pathways at Kindeva

Stories of our people progressing with purpose, transforming tomorrow for patients.

At Kindeva, progress with purpose begins with people.

Every innovation, every breakthrough and every improvement in global health starts with individuals who are learning, growing and developing their careers while contributing to something bigger.

Across our laboratories, manufacturing sites and offices, Kindeva team members are advancing complex drug delivery solutions that make a tangible difference for patients and partners.

Thoughtful innovation, rigorous science and collaborative growth define how we work together and how our people build meaningful, lasting careers.

Pathways at Kindeva celebrates those journeys. From early careers to experienced specialists, these stories highlight curiosity, mentorship and opportunity in a purpose-led environment where excellence is expected and supported.

Each story is a reminder that the most powerful progress happens together.

From intern to formulation scientist: Holly Dowdle’s journey with Kindeva

When Holly Dowdle first joined Kindeva as a student intern, she experienced a workplace that valued both curiosity and collaboration. It was an environment where asking questions was encouraged and development was part of everyday work, not something that happened on the sidelines.

“My journey started with a year-long internship where I worked on research and customer-funded projects. When I went back to university for my master’s, Kindeva sponsored my final-year project. Having that continued support showed me how much they invest in people,” Holly explains.

That early experience set the stage for her career. Today, Holly is a formulation scientist focused on advancing low global warming potential (low-GWP) next-generation propellants (NGPs), an area of innovation that is driving meaningful change in inhalation science and environmental impact.

Progress in practice

Holly’s work combines precision, creativity and collaboration.

“A typical day can look like being in the lab manufacturing a batch of inhalers and testing them using high-speed photography and laser equipment. I can then analyze that data using statistical software, put that into customer presentations or internal slide decks and then write reports on the feasibility projects once they come to an end.”

From manufacturing test batches to analyzing data and compiling reports, her work reflects a balance between hands-on science and thoughtful communication. It is this blend of technical expertise and openness to learning that keeps Holly’s role dynamic and rewarding.

Recognition and growth

Within a year, Holly saw her efforts recognized on an international stage.

“My biggest achievement in my role is being the named author on a poster presentation at the Drug Delivery to the Lungs (DDL) conference.”

That milestone reflects her growing confidence and the culture of support that encourages early-career scientists to explore new challenges and share their work with the wider scientific community.

A shared sense of purpose

For Holly, joining Kindeva was about being part of something that mattered.

“I chose a career at Kindeva because of the current transition of the low global warming potential propellants in the industry. There’s a lot of industry-leading work that Kindeva is doing that I really want to be a part of.”

Her work with low-GWP NGPs is not only technically challenging but also forward-looking, contributing to sustainable solutions that help shape the future of inhalation therapy.

Growth, collaboration and opportunity

Holly’s journey from intern to formulation scientist shows how individual growth and scientific innovation intersect at Kindeva. It is a story of curiosity, mentorship and opportunity in a collaborative environment that values learning and excellence.

Every contribution helps move science forward and creates space for people to grow. Together, Kindeva’s teams are shaping the future of healthcare through thoughtful innovation and shared purpose.

“My advice I’d give to anyone starting a career at Kindeva would be to speak to different people from different departments and ask a lot of questions. Everyone here is so supportive, and you learn so much from seeing how other teams work together.”
