Pathways at Kindeva

Stories of our people growing with purpose and shaping the future of healthcare

Some roles are defined by connection. They bring together people, priorities and information to keep work moving forward. At Kindeva, these roles play an important part in how teams collaborate, partners are supported and progress is made for patients.

Pathways at Kindeva shares how colleagues across the business develop their careers while contributing to work that helps fast-track healthier tomorrows for patients.

In this story, we meet Grace Guo, Manager of Client Portfolio Relationship Management, whose pathway at Kindeva has grown through clear communication, strategic thinking and a strong focus on people.

A role centered on planning and communication

Grace has been with Kindeva for just over a year, in a role that spans project oversight, coordination and problem solving, with each day requiring careful planning.

She starts by reviewing the overall status of her projects, looking ahead to align on milestones and priorities before moving into more detailed work.

My scope is quite broad, so planning the day is key. I like to start with the big picture, then move into the details and focus on what needs attention.

Communication is a central part of her role. Grace works closely with clients through regular meetings and discussions while staying connected with internal teams to ensure information is shared clearly and consistently.

A lot of my time is spent making sure the right people have the right information. That includes client communication, internal alignment and clear documentation.

When challenges arise, she works with teams to prioritize next steps and agree on solutions.

There are always things that need to be addressed. I enjoy working through those situations with the team and finding a way forward.

She also values taking time at the end of the day to reflect and prepare for what comes next.

I like to close out the day by reviewing what we achieved and planning ahead for tomorrow.

Growing into a leadership role

Grace recently stepped into her current role as Manager of Client Portfolio Relationship Management, expanding her focus beyond her own portfolio to include team development and consistency across client partnerships.

In my previous role, I focused on managing key client relationships. Now, I’m also thinking about how we support the team and approach client partnerships at a broader level.

The move feels like a natural step in her development at Kindeva.

From the beginning, I’ve been interested in building strong client relationships and supporting others. This role allows me to do both while continuing to stay closely connected to our clients.

What she values most in the role is the opportunity to support people and help them grow.

I really enjoy the people side of the role. Helping team members build confidence and think more strategically is very rewarding.

She also appreciates being able to influence how teams work together.

Creating clarity and alignment makes a real difference. When teams feel supported, it shows in how we work with our clients.

Purpose, partnership and looking ahead

Grace finds meaning in the connection between her work and patient outcomes.

Knowing that what we do can make a difference for patients gives my work a real sense of purpose.

With a background in medical devices, she values Kindeva’s focus and depth of expertise in drug delivery, particularly at the site level.

I appreciate that Kindeva specializes in drug delivery and that each site has deep expertise. For our site, that focus on nasal sprays means we have the knowledge and resources to do this work well.

For Grace, Manufacturing More Tomorrows™ reflects both patient impact and how teams work together every day.

To me, it’s about delivering products that support patients while also building a workplace where teams continue to learn, improve and support one another.

Reflecting on her own pathway, Grace encourages new starters to take an active role in their development.

Take ownership of how you learn and collaborate. Ask questions, seek feedback and stay curious about the bigger picture.

Grace’s story shows how careers at Kindeva grow through trust, communication and shared responsibility, with people at the center of progress.
