Kindeva, a global drug delivery contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) and an Altaris Capital Portfolio Company, has appointed Iain Baird as Executive Chairman of the Board. Shawn Cavanagh will be stepping down from the role and will continue to serve as a member of the board. Overseeing the organization’s long-term strategy, Baird’s leadership and extensive experience in assisting major business transactions will propel Kindeva’s growth initiatives as it accelerates into its next chapter.
With more than 30 years of experience in operational and financial leadership, Baird has partnered closely with founders and executive teams to scale CDMOs and product-based companies, including Genezen, CANbridge Life Sciences, Vibalogics, and Meridian Medical Technologies. He began his career at AstraZeneca, where he led the design and execution of multiple pharmaceutical facility construction projects while overseeing operations across several production sites.
Shawn Cavanagh will continue to provide valuable insight in his position as a Board Member, ensuring continuity and ongoing commitment to Kindeva’s success.
