Mike Cowhig
Chief Legal Officer
With more than 25 years of experience in the life sciences and medical device sectors, Mike brings extensive expertise in corporate governance, compliance and commercial strategy to Kindeva.
As Chief Legal Officer at Kindeva, Mike is responsible for aligning legal initiatives with our company’s growth objectives, nurturing customer relationships and providing legal counsel for business-critical challenges. He also leads the evolution of Kindeva’s compliance program in the face of regulatory changes and manages all aspects of global corporate governance
Throughout his career, Mike has held senior legal leadership positions across the life sciences and medical device industries, most recently serving as Vice President and General Counsel at SCIEX, where he led a team of fifteen legal professionals across Massachusetts, Toronto, Los Angeles and Darmstadt, Germany. In this role, he was responsible for commercial, intellectual property, compliance and general legal support while also serving as a member of the leadership team.
He also served as General Counsel for Danaher Life Sciences Innovation Group, and previously held senior leadership positions across Cardinal Health, Medtronic and Covidien. In these roles, he advised global businesses on commercial, compliance, intellectual property and legal matters across complex manufacturing environments.
Mike holds a B.A. in Economics from Bates College and earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from the Boston University School of Law.
