Brok Weichbrodt

Brok is responsible for driving enterprise-wide transformation and operational excellence to accelerate profitable growth and strategic differentiation in a global CDMO. As CTO, he leads large-scale change, aligning strategy, operations, technology and culture across geographies, modalities and functions to help Kindeva scale reliably, compete effectively and deliver consistently for customers in a highly regulated environment.

Most recently, he served as a pivotal operations leader for the launch and scale-up of Genezen, a specialized viral vector CDMO. During his tenure, he oversaw the design and build of the facility, built foundational operations and quality teams, and established core corporate processes. Additionally, Brok served as the operational lead for the due diligence, acquisition and post-merger integration of an acquired manufacturing site, successfully harmonizing cross-functional systems across business and site operations.

Prior to his time at Genezen, Brok held senior leadership positions at other leading CDMOs. In these roles, he successfully secured high-value commercial contracts and led large manufacturing teams focused on Drug Product Primary and Secondary operations. 

Brok is an expert in facility design and operational excellence with deep capabilities in managing complex capital projects, optimizing facility footprints and deploying advanced filling technologies. He is highly skilled in implementing specialized production systems and collaborating with lean manufacturing experts to streamline operational workflows. His ongoing focus on driving equipment innovation and establishing lean methodologies ensures manufacturing environments are structurally and operationally optimized for peak efficiency.
